Wines From Argentina |
|
Argentina is Latin America's major
wine producer. Although various other varietals are utilised, of note
are Argentina's Cabernets and Chardonnays, the finest of which are
probably produced in the Mendoza province. San Rafael, Salta and Rio
Negro are other growing areas in Argentina. Main Wine offers a nice
selection of wines from Latin America-peruse our inventory... |
Wines From Chile |
|
Chile has always been in possession
of some fine wine growing areas, but it wasn't until the past ten
or so years that Chilean wines have reached a level of finesse that
warranted referring to them as "award-winning". As in Argentina,
the predominant grapes are Chardonnay and Cabernet, But some nice
Sauvignon Blanc is produced as well. Some excellent values are still
to be had amongst Chilean wines. |
